Can I send newsletters with Webador?

It’s not possible to send newsletters through Webador. Our mail servers are specifically designed for direct (business) email communication, such as transactional emails.

What are transactional emails?

Transactional emails are messages that are automatically sent to a recipient based on a specific action. For example, an order confirmation after a purchase in your webshop, a response to a submitted contact form, or a reply to a customer inquiry. These emails provide important, one-on-one communication rather than bulk messages like newsletters, which are sent to a large group of recipients at once.

Why can’t I send newsletters through Webador?

Sending large volumes of emails or newsletters via our servers could cause them to be flagged as spam. As a result, your emails may not reach recipients properly, and it could also harm the reputation of your email address.

How can I send newsletters?

To effectively send newsletters, we recommend using a dedicated email marketing service such as MailChimp or MailerLite. These platforms are specifically designed for managing and sending large-scale email campaigns, ensuring reliable delivery.

How can I collect email addresses for my newsletter?

Although Webador does not offer built-in newsletter functionality, you can still build a mailing list using the Form-element. Visitors can sign up for your newsletter through this form, and you can then export the collected email addresses to import them into an external email marketing service.

By using a specialized email marketing service, you ensure that your newsletters are delivered efficiently and reliably, without the risks associated with non-specialized mail servers.
