Setting up your mailbox in an email program can sometimes be tricky. Of course, we aim to make this process as easy as possible. If you’re experiencing issues, the steps below may help you resolve the problem.
1. Can you log in to Webmail?
Before checking your email program settings, it’s a good idea to test whether you can log in to our Webmail. With Webmail, you can send and receive emails directly. Even if setting up your mailbox in an email program isn't working right away, you can still access your emails using Webmail in the meantime. That way, you’ll always stay connected!
⚠ Note: Your Webmail login details may differ from the login credentials you use for Webador and managing your website.
If you can’t log in to Webmail, it means your login details are incorrect. This is likely also the reason why your email program isn’t working. Try resetting your mailbox password and logging in to Webmail again. If that works, great! Now you know which password to use when setting up your email program.
2. Check your email program settings
Most issues occur due to incorrect settings in your email program. You can find the correct configuration details in our guide on setting up your mailbox with your email program. If you’ve already tried setting up your mailbox and it's not working, remove the connection and try again.

✔ Tip: If the settings from your email program's guide don’t seem to work, check the Reference section at the bottom of this article. This includes alternative settings that may be required. Sometimes, finding the right setup involves a bit of trial and error. Try different security settings and ports until you find the correct combination.
3. Gather information
