Why am I seeing a 'relay access denied' notification when setting up my email?

Once you've set up a mailbox, you can configure this in your preferred email client.

After completing this setup, if you see the notification relay access denied, this means you're trying to send email via the outgoing mail server without sending a username or password.

Step 1

Go to your email client settings and search for the outgoing mail server.

Step 2

Enter your username (your full email address) and password.

Note: The password is your mailbox password, not the password you use to log into Webador. If you've forgotten your mailbox password, you can always reset it.

Step 3

Save the changes to remove the notification.
