Can I add a DMARC record?

Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance (DMARC) is an email authentication protocol designed to protect email domains against being used for malicious activities, such as phishing.

Adding this record helps identify suspicious emails, and without it receiving mail servers may consider your emails unsafe.

If you've registered your domain name with us, this record will automatically be entered. However, if you're using another service this may not be the case. You can add this record to your existing DNS records yourself.

Step 1

In the Editor, click on the Webador logo in the top left corner.

Step 2

Click on the My subscription link under the website name.

Step 3

On the subscription page, you'll see the Domains box, containing an overview of any domain names you've registered. Click on Manage domains.

Step 4

Click on the Modify DNS button alongside the domain name you want to edit.

Step 5

Click on the + Add record button to add a new record and select TXT as the type. In the Name field, enter _dmarc and in the Value field enter v=DMARC1;p=none;

Step 6

Click on Save to add the new record.

Warning: DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to finish processing!
