DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) is an email authentication protocol which improves email security by allowing a recipient's mail server to check the authenticity of the sender's domain.
If you use an email service such as MailChimp, it's important to set up a DKIM record.
Step 1
In the Editor, click on the Webador logo in the top left corner.
Step 2
On the My sites page, click on the My subscription link under the website name.
Step 3
On the subscription page, you'll see the Domains box, containing an overview of any domain names you've registered. Click on Manage domains.
Step 4
Click on the Modify DNS button alongside the domain name you want to edit.
Step 5
Click on the + Add record button to add a new record. You can obtain the exact details (such as whether it's a CNAME or TXT record, for example) from the email service you're using (e.g. Mailchimp).
Step 6
Click on Save to add the new record.
⚠ Warning: DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to finish processing!
