Webador ✖ Free ✖ Lite ✔ Pro ✔ Business
There are two ways to add HTML code to your Webador website, plus an alternative for certain already supported tools:
-
One specific place on a page > Embed Code element: Use this element to display a widget or other embedded content in one exact location on your site.
-
Applies to your entire site OR Instructed by an external tool > HTML to Head or Body tag: If a tool specifically asks you to add code to the Head or Body tag of your website or the code should apply to your entire website in the background, you can do this via your website settings.
- Alternative: Add a supported external tool > App element: This is the easiest way to add supported content from platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and more.
Choose how you want to add HTML code:
Use the Embed Code element when you want to display embedded content, such as a widget, in a specific place on one of your pages.
Step 1
Go to the Editor.
Step 2
Drag the Embed Code element from the left menu and drop it in the desired place on your page.
Step 3
Click on the element, then click Edit embed.
Step 4
Copy the HTML code you want to use and paste it into the input field.
Step 5
Click Save.
⚠ Note: In the Editor, you may see the text HTML code (only displayed on the website itself). This means your content will only be visible on your live website and not in the Editor itself.
Use this option when an external service asks you to add code to your website's Head or Body. This can be used for things such as verification or tracking codes.
Webador automatically adds important information such as the website title and description, so you do not need to add these yourself.
Step 1
In the Editor, go to Settings > Advanced.
Step 2
Click Add custom HTML code.
Step 3
Click the + Add HTML code button.
Step 4
Enter a Title for your code and choose where the code should be placed:
- Head
- Body – start
- Body – end
Select the location specified by the external service that provided the code.
Step 5
Paste your code into the HTML field and click Save.
⚠ Please note: We cannot guarantee the functionality or compatibility of custom HTML code and cannot provide support for individually added code. Webador also does not support custom API connections via HTML.
