Unfortunately, the URL of a free website (free Webador subdomain) cannot be changed.
If you want to use a different domain (also called website address), you can register your own domain by upgrading to Webador Lite, Pro or Business.
Paid plans include the option to choose your own domain name (e.g., www.yourdomain.com). If the domain name is active, it will replace the free .webador.com address as primary domain.

✔ Tip: Your domain name (website address) and your website title (website name) are separate settings. You can change your website title (the name of your website) at any time by going to: Editor > Settings > General > Website title.
Change your domain name
Do you have a Lite, Pro, or Business plan and already registered a domain name, but want to use a different one?
Unfortunately, once a domain name has been registered, it can’t be changed anymore. This is because domain names are registered through external domain registries, and these registrations are fixed and linked to the specific name with the exact wording you selected.
Therefore, we recommend the following:
- Purchase an additional domain name.
- Set the new domain as your primary domain.
- Cancel the old domain name, which will then be removed automatically at the next renewal date of your subscription.
- As long as both domain names are active, your old domain will be automatically redirected to the new address.
An advantage of this option is that visitors who use your old domain name will automatically be redirected to your new one. This way, you won’t lose any traffic, and your visitors will have time to get used to your new address.
Please note: If you cancel your old domain name (website address) within one year, you'll only have to pay the domain fee once for the change.
