Accidentally deleted something from your website or made changes you want to undo?
Unfortunately, it isn't possible to restore your website to a previous version. Once content such as an element, text, or an image has been deleted or replaced, we can't restore an earlier version for you.
Webador does maintain backups to keep websites available in case of technical problems, but these backups can't be used to restore an individual website or roll it back to an earlier version.
What can I do instead?
Depending on what you've deleted, there may still be a few options:
- Images: If you've used an image on your website before, it may still be available under your previously uploaded images. Add an Image element and click Select image to check.
- Text and other elements: These will need to be added again manually. If you still have the original text or content saved elsewhere, you can copy and paste it back onto your website.
- Blogs: Accidentally deleted a Blog element? In some cases, your blog and its posts can still be restored. See this article for more information.
- Product listings: These will need to be added again manually. If you still have the original product descriptions and photos saved elsewhere, you can copy the text and re-upload the images.
✔ Tip: Before making major changes to your website, consider saving important text content and images separately, so you have a copy available if you need it later.
