How to change your login email address

Keeping your account information up to date is important for staying secure and receiving the right notifications. Follow the steps below to update the email address linked to your Webador account.

Before You Begin

Please make sure your new email address meets all of the following requirements:
  • It is not already registered on Webador. Each Webador account must have a unique email address.
  • It is not a Webador mailbox or email alias. Email addresses created through Webador's email hosting cannot be used as your login email. This is because if your mailbox becomes unavailable or is canceled, we would no longer be able to reach you with important account communications, such as password reset links or billing notifications.
  • You have active access to the new email address. After submitting your new address, you will receive a verification email. You must click the link in that email to confirm the change, so make sure you can receive messages at that address before getting started.

Step 1

Go to webador.com/login and sign in with your current email address and password.

Step 2

Click My account in the top right corner of the screen.

Step 3

In your account settings, click Change email address.

Step 4

Type in your new email address, then click Save to submit your request.

Step 5

After submitting, two emails will be sent automatically:
  • A verification link is sent to your new email address. Click this link to confirm the change. Until you do, your email address will not be updated.
  • A security notification is sent to your current email address to let you know a change was requested. If you did not make this request, contact our support team immediately.
Note: If you do not receive the verification email, check your spam or junk folder.

 


Optional: Sign Out of All Other Devices

If you recently accessed your account from a shared or public device, you have the option here to sign out of all other active sessions for added security.
 
To do this:
  1. Stay in My account settings.
  2. Click Sign out of all other devices.

Heads Up: Domain Holder Information

If your account includes one or more registered domain names, please be aware that your email address is also used as the domain holder contact. Changing your login email address will automatically update the email address listed for your domain holder profile. Make sure your new email address is one you want associated with your domain registration information.
