Want to really make your website yours? One of the best ways you can do this is add and remove elements – think of them as the building blocks of your site. Whether you want to add an image, a compelling text block, a contact form, or even a video, Webador makes it super easy to customize your pages.
You have complete control over all these elements, plus many more of the standard features a professional website needs.
This guide will walk you through the simple steps of adding and deleting these elements so you can customize your website.
Step 1
Head to your Editor: First things first, make sure you're logged in to your Webador website and you're in the website editor.
Step 2
Look through the elements panel: This is on the left hand side of your editor and is like your toolbox full of website goodies. Now you'll see all sorts of elements neatly organized into categories.
You'll find things like:
- Text: For adding headings, paragraphs, quotes – all your written content.
- Images: To show off photos, graphics, and make your site visually appealing.
- Buttons: To encourage visitors to take action, like "Contact Us" or "Learn More."
- Videos: Spice things up with engaging video content.
- Forms: Let people get in touch, sign up for newsletters, and more.
- And lots more!
Step 3
Choose and Drag Your Element: Found something you like? Great! Click on the element you want to add and drag it right onto your webpage.
Elements can be placed in two-page sections:
- The content area: The first screenshot below shows how a Header element can be placed in this section
- The footer: This is the bottom of your website. The second animation below shows how elements can be added to a footer.
Step 4
Time to customize! Once you've got it in the right spot, just release your mouse button. The element is added. Now, you can usually click on the element to see options to customize it – change text, add images, adjust settings, and really make it your own.
Delete an element
Changed your mind about an element? No problem! Deleting them is just as easy as adding them:
Step 1
Go to the Editor, then to the page where you placed your element.
Step 2
Hit the Delete Button (Red X Icon): Look for a red X icon that appears on the top right hand corner of the element. Give that a click. Just like that, the element is removed from your page.
✔ Tip: Placed an element on the wrong page? You can easily move the element to another page.
