Within Webador's webmail, there are a few handy features you can use. For instance, you can have messages forwarded automatically via a filter. You can download your important mails to your computer if you wish to keep them, or because you change hosting.
In this article, we would like to explain to you a few handy functions you can use in your webmail.
Download import e-mails to your computer
You have received important mails and would like to save them as extra in another place. Or you are moving your domain name to another hosting, and don't want to lose some of your important mails. Then there is the option of downloading important mails to your computer, and storing them there.
Step 1
Open your webmail and make sure you have ticked the ‘Select’ option via ‘Select’.
Step 2
Select all your important e-mails that you would like to download to your computer.
Step 3
Click on ‘More’ with the three dots on the far right and then on ‘Download’. Here you have this choice of two types of .zip files. The ‘Source (.eml)’ is only available for downloading a single mail.
Step 4
The mails will now be downloaded as a .zip file to your computer.
Add a filter: for example forwarding your e-mail
If you want to forward e-mails to another e-mail address, you can set up a filter for this.
To do this, go to the Settings of your webmail, and choose the option ‘Filters’. Via the black + button, you can add a new filter.
After giving the filter a name, for example ‘Forward’, you can change the search range to, for example, ‘All messages’. Under actions, you then choose the action that suits your needs. In this example it is ‘Forward message to’. Set an e-mail address and click ‘Save’.
