Once you've registered a domain name and created a mailbox, you can set up your email in your preferred client.

Every Android device has an email application installed by default. This article explains how to set up your Webador mailbox in your Android email app.

Note: While the exact layout of the app varies per device, the settings are the same! If you experience any issues, try the configuration using the general email settings.

Step 1

In the email app, tap on Other, then enter the email address and password of your mailbox and tap on Sign in.

Note: The password is your mailbox password, not the password you use to log into Webador. If you've forgotten your mailbox password, you can always reset it.

Step 2

Under Select account type, tap on IMAP account.

Step 3

On the Server settings page, enter the email address of your mailbox in both the Email address and Username fields.

Step 4

Enter the following for the Incoming server:

  • IMAP server: mail.webador.com (NOT your domain name).
  • Security type: TLS
  • Port: 143 (may be set automatically when you change the security type)

The Incoming server page should look as below:

Step 5

Enter the following for the Outgoing server:

  • SMTP server: mail.webador.com (NOT your domain name).
  • Security type: TLS
  • Port: 587 (may be set automatically when you change the security type)

Enable the Require authentication to send emails option and enter the email address and password of your mailbox.

The Outgoing server page should look as below:
